@lauren so far, there is still no evidence of person to person transmission. So I think for the moment the pandemic part 2 risk is contained. Let's hope it stays that way.
@sophieschmieg If there's any negative change in how this presents or spreads, the new administration can be counted on to handle it exactly wrong, with unpredictably awful potential consequences. With stuff like this, the worse case scenario is what you have to plan for, not optimistic misinformation!

@lauren that is true, although I don't see public health at this point being untrustworthy on it, especially cross-checking it with public health departments of other countries. Definitely dangerous, though.

@lauren yes, because we have left the state of a pandemic that caused a lot of psychic injuries in people because of fear and uncertainty
